About BRUNA the Label

Ever since BRUNA was born, by a chance discovery on the island of Tahiti, we've dedicated ourselves to designing exceptional jewelry that complements nature's beauty and diversity. BRUNA's story began when our founder discovered rare Keshi pearls during her travels through the French Polynesian islands. These unique, natural pearls are considered a by-product in pearl farming's search for perfection, which just didn't seem right to her. This discovery of something so beautiful that was unfairly destined to be thrown away sparked a unique idea. A small bag of pearls and a whole lot of inspiration later, BRUNA was to become the answer to her endless search for conscious, long-lasting jewelry.

01 Measure

BRUNA the Label measured Scope 1, 2 and 3 cradle-to-customer emissions following categories and approaches established in the Climate Neutral standards.

02 Offset

BRUNA the Label invested in projects outside of their value chain to compensate for all of their measured carbon emissions. This step supports their climate neutrality designation, and enables BRUNA the Label to take responsibility for historical emissions that can’t be reduced.

03 Reduce

BRUNA the Label is implementing a Reduction Action Plan to reduce emissions from within its own operations and supply chain.

What is Climate Neutrality

A state in which human activities result in no net effect on the climate system. Requires balancing of residual greenhouse gas emissions with reductions or removals. All Climate Neutral Certified brands must meet climate neutrality standards for measuring, offsetting, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from making and delivering products and services.
