Reduction Action Plans
Active Reduction Work
Packaging
Prevent risk of deforestation in our supply chains by obtaining the FSC Chain of Custody certification for our packaging.
Packaging
Transition all our packaging materials (paper, cotton) to recycled, organic, or other low-impact alternatives across all jewelry boxes.
Packaging
We will reduce the weight of our shipping boxes by 50% by creating a smaller shipping box for small orders (e.g. for customer buying 1-2 jewerly pieces).

Product End Of Life
We plan to introduce a repair opportunity as the first step of our circularity approach.
Raw Materials
We will introduce a closed loop / circularity into our supply chain. We'll reduce the amount of recycled precious metals we buy from our conflict-free smelter, as we will melt down unwanted preowned jewellery from our customers ourselves.
Packaging
We plan to exchange our currently used recycled polybags, in which each piece of jewellery is packed in our factory and sent to our logistics warehouse, with plantbased, compostable bags.
Raw Materials
We prepare for a B corp certification to have our performance validated by an external third party.

03 Compensate
Ever since BRUNA was born, by a chance discovery on the island of Tahiti, we've dedicated ourselves to designing exceptional jewelry that complements nature's beauty and diversity. BRUNA's story began when our founder discovered rare Keshi pearls during her travels through the French Polynesian islands. These unique, natural pearls are considered a by-product in pearl farming's search for perfection, which just didn't seem right to her. This discovery of something so beautiful that was unfairly destined to be thrown away sparked a unique idea. A small bag of pearls and a whole lot of inspiration later, BRUNA was to become the answer to her endless search for conscious, long-lasting jewelry.
